Tesla Full Self Driving (FSD) v12 has been released to more Tesla owners. FSD v12 uses end to end neutral network implementation and is capable of handling a lot more driving situations correctly and more human like. To expand FDS v12 awareness, Tesla is making two new changes.

Whole Mars Catalog, Tesla will require delivery staff to give supervised FSD v12 demo to new Tesla owners. Elon Musk wants new owners to be aware of how good FSD v12’s is and hope more would see the value and purchase FSD.

A few days ago, Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla has the required compute resource to train FSD. FSD improvement is no longer limited by access to GPUs and combined with V12’s end to end neutral network model will improve at an accelerated rate. As more people are aware how good FSD is, more people might purchase it. The AI inference chip, and camera is already in every new Tesla and AI compute for training is already part of Tesla’s capex plan. Each new FSD purchase goes directly to Tesla’s revenue and improves margin.
