Tesla Model Y demand strong in China, Germany, UK and US for September 2022.

Despite supply chain challenges, Covid restrictions in China, huge stock market declines, continued conflict in Ukraine, the Tesla Model Y sales remain strong in many parts of the world for the month of September 2022.

In October 5 2022, UK’s SMMT reported The Tesla Model Y is 2nd best selling car in UK for the month selling 8,315 units and for the Year to Date, it ranked 8th with 20,654. This is compare to all types of vehicles, gas or electric and car, and SUV. TrueCar’s September 2022 forecasts Tesla as whole will deliver 42,959 in the US in September vs 42,837 in August 2022 for a slight gain.

According to Electrek based on latest data from Experian, for 2022 as of August, Tesla Model Y and Model 3 ranked 1st and 2nd with 134,978 and 123,634 units respectively.
