Franz von Holzhausen spoke to CNBC about Semi and Cybertruck. He also hints at a future product he’s is very excited about but is not ready to go public yet.
On Semi, he and his team took advantage of the design freedom provided by the space that used to house the engine. He places the driver forward to get an improve view of the road.
For the Cybertruck, he selected steel to give the truck a tough shell and allow it to withstand harsh environment.
He reveals that his current car is a Tesla Model S Plaid, a car that he said is pretty much faster than any car on the public road but can still carry his kids and bike safely.
